The current notice explains what data 148 Dating uses, why, with whom it is shared, how long it is kept and the choices available to members.

Data we use
We process verified email and account state; profile, age, selected city, photos and answers; religious-practice and Shabbat details with separate consent; discovery choices, likes, matches, messages and voice notes; reports, blocks and moderation evidence; subscription status; and minimised technical and security logs. We do not request GPS, contacts, advertising identifiers, facial recognition or voiceprints in the beta.
Why we use it
We use data to create and secure accounts, provide the paid matching and messaging service, display compatible profiles, process subscriptions, prevent abuse, moderate content, handle rights and comply with applicable obligations. Optional product analytics and third-party advertising are disabled.
Sharing and transfers
Service providers include Supabase, Cloudflare, Brevo and Nedarim Plus / Matara for the Web beta. They receive only the data needed for their role. GeoNames supplies the public city catalogue and receives no member query. Data may be processed in Israel, the European Economic Area or other provider locations with applicable contractual and security safeguards. We do not sell member data or share it for targeted advertising.
Retention and security
A deletion request hides the profile immediately and starts bounded purge. Backups rotate within 30 days; moderation, security, billing and legal evidence follow separate limited periods. Access is restricted, privileged actions are authenticated and audited, and private media uses short-lived grants. No system is risk-free.
Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or an appeal. Remove sensitive profile values to withdraw the related consent. Use the member settings or support@148.dating. You may also contact the competent data-protection authority.
